A very nice illustration by Italian artist, Giuseppe Rava of the Macedonian commander and king, Alexander the Great (Ἀλέξανδρος ὁ Μέγας) (Alejandro Magno).
The death of Alexander has been subject to debate, however, his legacy is without question. Many areas of the east were exposed to Greek civilization and in the process significantly influenced by the Hellenes.
