THIS VIDEO HAS A BIT OF IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT A COURT DECISION THAT WE SHOULD ALL BECOME AWARE OF BECAUSE OF ITS SIGNIFICANCE IN THESE NAME DISPUTE NEGOTIATIONS

I HAVE ENTERED A COMMENT

THE CONTENT OF MY COMMENT HAS BEEN ADDED BELOW FOR THE VIEWERS' IMMEDIATE CONVENIENCE

Hello

If this Court ruled, in part, against Fyrom's use/misuse of the Greek Cultural / Historical matters, which by default would include the name Macedonia and would also discredit Fyrom's basis for entitlement to the name "MACEDONIA", then why is this Court's decision not used now as basis:

1-for refusing the name Macedonia now, in any way shape or form

2-for revoking Fyrom's current name because it has the name 'MACEDONIA" in it, hence, because the Fyrom name is contrary to the Court's ruling verbatim and as noted above

3-for revoking Fyrom's current / future rights of entitlement .

4-for revoking any claims that Greece has recognized and accepted the use of the name MACEDONIA, as claimed here:

Stated otherwise, the name Fyrom can be deemed VOID as per Court's ruling as well as any claims that Greece has recognized and accepted the use of the name MACEDONIA, as claimed in the above link. In my humble opinion, Greece's presumed prior recognition can be effectively voided and be deemed erroneous based on this decision.

Furthermore, this decision can also be used to preemptively sue Fyrom, prior to bringing name change options to the negotiating table and prior to finalizing any of them. Matthew Nimetz himself had brought forth this type of option in the past when he was mostly pro-Greek

Macedonian Name Issue – UN Negotiator Nimetz sides with Greece
IN DIASPORA, GENERAL NEWS, MACEDONIAN NEWS / BY D-MAK / ON MARCH 15, 2011 AT 6:56 PM /

THIS ARTICLE STATES, IN PART:

" NEW YORK – The UN mediator on the name issue of the FYROM, Matthew Nimetz, in his meeting on Friday in New York with a delegation of the Pan-Macedonian Association, acknowledged that FYROM’s majority are Slavs and that they “made a huge mistake in their attempt to antiquate their society as well as by their use of ancient Greek Macedonian symbols” said to the Newspaper of Greek Diaspora “National Herald“, the organization’s chairman, Dr Antonis Papadopoulos.

“Moreover, when I mentioned to Mr Nimetz, the issue of the Macedonian identity and that the adjective “Macedonian” should not be used for their army, their language and their people, Mr Nimetz told me, that indeed, it may be a good idea to sue the term ‘people of such and such Republic’, Army of the Republic of such and such’ and ‘the language of the Republic such and such’, not the adjective “Macedonian”, etc.”, he added.

=============

In two recent interviews with Matthew Nimetz, see the two Youtube links below, It was disappointing to see these Greek Journalists not bring up this Court's decision to him and to ask him legally based questions regarding the legal inappropriateness of Fyrom's Macedonia related demands and any mediator's support to same.

In addition, this Court's decision should have been brought forth to Nimetz as a legal notice for all legal barriers that now exist, as a result of this Court ruling, for Fyrom as well as for anyone involved in these name disputes and negotiations to even place the name Macedonia on the table of considerations for a name change.

These Greek Journalists should have done their homework but failed to do so. Failures are not permitted anymore. We don't have any more room for any further failures.

I hope that in future interviews this Court decision will be brought forth in detail and with all the legal basis, arguments and attention that it deserves. I also hope that the same will be done in all related negotiations for this long over due name change

Please send me links of this Court's decision as well as the legal citation so that I can obtain all related Court documents for my review.

I apologize for not writing in Greek. I know how to read and write in Greek but not in an impressive manner because my grammmar and spelling are very bad. I grew up and was educated in New York City. I went to Greek school up until the age of 11 or 12 in Greece, so I have forgotten a lot.

Although I am facing a terrible ordeal, as a result of having been turned into a politically motivated Targeted Individual, I have not forgotten my Country and my Macedonian roots. I took the struggles of my country with me and I try to help in any way that I can.

Thank you for your attention in this matter

AFTER MY COMMENT, I RESEARCHED THE ABOVE COURT CASE AND I FOUND SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON THE WEB RELATING WITH IT SIGNIFICANCE, ITS SYMBOLIC NATURE ABSENT ENFORCEMENT, ITS EVIDENTIARY VALUE TO BOTH PARTIES AND ITS STRENGTH AS BASIS FOR FURTHER PROCEEDINGS ADVANTAGEOUS OR DETRIMENTAL TO THE INTERESTS OF BOTH PARTIES

SEE

http://www.euractiv.com/section/enlargement/news/court-blames-greece-for-blocking-macedonia-s-nato-bid/
"The International court ruling is more of a symbolic nature, as it cannot impose fines on Greece or force it to refrain from similar moves. However, it does highlight that Athens' veto on launching accession negotiations with Skopje is even more unjustified. Macedonia still finds itself unable to start talks with the EU, despite the fact that it received the status of candidate country as early as December 2005. Croatia, another former Yugoslav republic, obtained candidate status in 2004, opened negotiations in 2005 and will sign an accession treaty on Friday."...."the Greek foreign Ministry stated that the judgement did not relate, and could not relate, to the decision making process of NATO.
"Most specifically, with regard to NATO, we recall that its decisions, including those taken at the Summit in Bucharest (2008), Strasbourg (2009) and Lisbon (2010), were taken unanimously, reflecting its members shared conviction that the name issue of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia be resolved before it is invited to join the Alliance," Athens insists."

"The judgment is final, without appeal and is binding on the parties, though the World Court has no tools to enforce its decisions".."However, the court did not uphold Macedonia’s request and order Greece to restrain from blocking its smaller neighbour from joining International organizations in future."

LEGAL ANALYSIS OF THE COURT'S RULING EVINCES THAT FYROM, BY CONTINUING TO USE/MISUSE GREEK SYMBOLS, CULTURE AND HISTORY IS IN VIOLATION. THE NAME DISPUTE WAS NOT RULES UPON AND , AS SUCH, IS NOT PART OF THIS COURT RULING

"Nato secretary general Anders Fogh Rasmussen on Monday repeated that Macedonia will be invited to join "as soon as a mutually acceptable solution to the name issue has been reached."
